I graduated in Pharmacy at Complutense University in Madrid. I started my professional career at Abbott Laboratories and specialize on Pharmaceutical Marketing. From there I switched to health advertising at Grey Healthcare as account executive, where I completely fell in love with the whole world of pharmaceutical marketing.

On 1992 I created Mk with the ambition of providing creativity and innovation to the pharmaceutical sector, which until that moment was ruled by rational approaches, and it worked! Nowadays we are the leading integral agency in the health sector. So far I have had the pleasure of being part of the Global Awards board, and of chairing the health jury of El Sol festival and the Aspid Awards. I have also been vice president – from 2005 to 2008 – and president – on 2009 and 2010 – of AEAPS, the Spanish Association of Health Publicity Agencies.

My favourite words are: passion, trust and commitment. And I love to ask “what for?” and “why not?”

Manuel Tello

Financial Director

 

I graduated in Business Administration at the European Business School. I have expertise on financial management, administration and optimization of resources. My focus is projects´ profitability and taking care of the agency´s financial viability. Since 1998 I´m part of Mkmedia Team, as the Financial Director since 2002, and extending my responsibilities to Purchases and Human Resources since 2005.
As an enthusiast of the engine´s world, on 2010 I undertook the adventure of creating Fanoutics.com, a Private Club for engine lovers, and JDM, a specialized mechanic workshop; both activities that I combine with Mkmedia.

My favourite words are: profitability, optimization, efficiency and attitude.

Óscar Esteban

Scientific Director

 

I have a bachelor´s degree on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Autónoma University of Madrid. I started my career path as a university developer at Interamericana-McGrawhill. After this small beginning on the health sector I tried marketing and pharmaceutical promotion at Aula Médica, where I had the chance to know more about pharmaceutical marketing.

I arrived to Mk on 1993 as account executive. On 1998 I jumped to the scientific field as editor, and on 2002 I became responsible of the scientific department of the agency. My goal: to produce efficient content and campaigns, guaranteeing scientific rigour in all of our creative and publicity communications.

I studied Business Administration, Marketing and Commercial Management. I´m in love with marketing and business. I took my first steps at Vigelands Pharma and Grey Healthcare, until joining Mk to make it run. Since 1994 I devote myself to the growth of the agency, building new departments and adding my knowledge into the implementation of innovative services. With my work I have contributed to position Mk as one of the best specialized agencies on the Spanish health sector.

I´m passionate about event production and organization, and the communication business in general. Continuously searching for the extraordinary.

I started my professional path as team management coordinator in catering projects and support staff manager on events. I arrived to Mkmedia on 2004. Since then I have collaborated on countless projects of different scopes and for very diverse clients. I like team work, fellowship, creativity and a positive environment.
